The current plot is quite bearable and has heroes full of life. It’s still a monsterhunter slasher with some RPG influences set in a post-apocalyptic future.Īfter tiring contact with the predecessor, also after this installment, I expected a boring story, but I was pleasantly disappointed. In the west, we got an extended edition of the mentioned title – God Eater 2: Rage Burst (PS4), which we can now also play on the big screen. The second God Eater debuted in Japan on PSP and PS Vita consoles, but both versions never officially left this country. God Eater 2: Rage Burst (PS4) is such a title – it corrects the errors of its predecessor, while giving something back. Game developers know this and sometimes poor productions sometimes get quite successful successors. They say it’s best to learn from someone else’s mistakes, but sometimes you have to learn from your own. ![]()
